-A trip to Huber Woods is planned for November 7th. The purpose of this field trip is to build a Lenape Longhouse, which connects to our Social Studies curriculum. The trip will be from 8:45-2:15 and will cost each student $15.00 to attend. It is tons of fun!! Permission slips will begin going home this week.
10/7/07
-Progress Reports will be going home on Friday, October 12, 2007. There was a misprint on the school calendar indicating the 5th.
-Please make sure each night that your child has completed each homework assignment and has all materials packed for the next school day. We have been having too many instances of students not completing assignments or coming to school without all supplies. You can help by checking your child's planner each day and initialing in the orange parent signature box at the bottom of each column. This will indicate to me that you've checked your child's homework and it has all been packed for school. At the end of each school day, we have "Pack Up Buddies" who help check our schoolbags to see if we have the necessary items packed for the day. I also write on the board exactly what materials need to be packed up to go home. Together we can make a difference!! Thank you for your continued support!!
-Book Order money for October orders is due Friday, October 12, 2007. Please make sure all checks are made out to Scholastic Book Clubs.

-Thank you so much for coming out to Back to School Night! It was a pleasure meeting you and discussing the expectations I have for this school year!!
-Progress Reports will be going home this Friday, 10/5/07. Be on the lookout! They must be signed over the weekend and sent back to school on Monday. If you would like an extra copy to keep at home, please let me know and I will make sure a duplicate is made for you.

-It is very important that your child complete their homework assignments each day! Once an assignment has been completed, please review it with your child. Then sign your child's student planner indicating it has been completed next to the date. Your help and cooperation with this matter is extremely important and appreciated.
-All Summer Reading Logs were due on Friday 9/14/07 and some students still have not handed these in. It is very important that I have these ASAP! Thanks
- Remember to have your child hand in their Technology Agreement forms ASAP.
-Make sure your child has a book cover for their math and social studies textbooks. We are trying to take really good care of our books!
-Book orders are due by Wednesday!!!!!! Please make payments only by check.

- Welcome to my class! By now you should have received your Back to School letter. Hopefully you are busy getting all of the necessary supplies needed for 4th grade!! Keep on reading!

1. 9/12- PTO meeting at 7pm in the MIS Library
2. 9/13- School Closed for Rosh Hashanah
3. 9/21- MIS Back to School Bingo at 7pm
4. 9/24- Back to School Night for parents (look forward to meeting you)
